Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of alphaTrack and its trackers (the "Service"), operated by [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME], [JURISDICTION]. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

alphaTrack is a family of personal-tracking web apps sharing one account. We may add, change, or remove trackers and features over time. The Service is provided for your personal use.

3. Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address and verify it to use the Service.
• You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for activity under your account.
• One account is for one person; do not share credentials.
• You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country).

4. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

• All-access subscription. A single paid subscription unlocks every tracker.
• Free trial. New accounts may start a free trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it converts to a paid subscription at the then-current price.
• Merchant of record. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, who is the seller/merchant of record and handles billing, invoicing, and applicable taxes. Your purchase is also subject to Lemon Squeezy's terms at checkout.
• Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
• Cancellation. You can cancel anytime from your billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period, after which it lapses.
• Refunds. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable beyond [REFUND WINDOW]. Refund requests are handled through our merchant of record.
• Price changes. We may change prices; changes apply to future billing periods and we will give reasonable notice.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything unlawful, or store content you have no right to store.
• Attempt to break, overload, probe, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or other users' data.
• Abuse, automate, or resell the Service in a way that degrades it for others or exceeds reasonable personal use.
• Use third-party data surfaced in the trackers in violation of those providers' terms.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you store in the Service. You grant us a limited licence to store, process, back up, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you. You are responsible for the content you store and for keeping your own copies of anything important; you can export your data at any time from the account page.

7. Our intellectual property

The Service's software, design, and branding are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or to copy or redistribute the Service.

8. Third-party services and data

Some trackers display metadata from third parties (for example TheTVDB, TMDB, the YouTube Data API, RAWG, BoardGameGeek, Google Books, and OpenLibrary). That data belongs to its providers and is subject to their terms; we provide it "as is" and are not responsible for its accuracy.

9. Availability and disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost, though we maintain backups to reduce that risk.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost data or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or to protect the Service. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; data deletion follows our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where significant, communicated by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [JURISDICTION], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be subject to the courts of [JURISDICTION], unless mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
